Le charanguito est un petit instrument de musique à cordes pincées des peuples autochtones des Andes. Ce petit "luth des Andes" s'est ensuite répandu dans tous les pays andins (Pérou, Bolivie, Argentine, Chili et Équateur). C'était traditionnellement fait avec la coquille de l'arrière d'un tatou.
